Character.AI
Chat platform with customizable AI characters for conversation, roleplay, and learning
Character.AI (character.ai) Review
Character.AI is a consumer chat platform where users converse with AI characters: user-created personas, original characters, and official personas, covering companionship, roleplay, learning, and entertainment. Users can design characters with custom names, greetings, and personality definitions, and publish them for others to chat with. The service is free with usage limits; a c.ai+ subscription removes ads and adds benefits such as priority access and enhanced character memory, with a lower-cost Lite tier also offered. Apps are available on iOS, Android, and the web.
